After watching a few top 10s/100s, I think I have found the one that I agree with the most. Here it is.
I thought you guys would find it fun to get away from your homework for a bit. I found this video extremely entertaining and I hope you guys feel the same way. Hope you enjoy!
Ahh...Tuesdays. Well, Tuesdays are by far, the easiest day all week for me. Although waking up may be an issue, once I get to school I am fine. I have a study hall first period, which is great and it gives me a time to relax and after that it is a pretty straight forward day. With only 3 classes the whole day, I really have a lot of fun on Tuesdays. Its great after a long hardworking Monday. An idea for study halls would be this. If we have a study-hall first period and we have no work to do, why not get some extra sleep? I think this would be a great idea and I would love to see school implement this in.
I was procrastinating off my homework the other night when I stumbled upon this. I found all these goals crazy and I hope all you hockey players out there would like these too.
WW Fenn Reflection II
What it Takes to be Number One
I know this speech is somewhat overused, but if you recite the piece differently than everyone else it sounds just as good. I really liked this piece because I am a huge fan of motivational speeches. Whether it is Herb Brooks Miracle Speech or Martin Luther King’s I have a dream Speech, I love listening to people encouraging someone else to push there else. I am not to familiar with the speech, but I have heard it a few times at All-School Meeting. In order to master this piece you have to state it well. That means you have to find places to pause and all the other things that you need to make your speech sound good. I am really excited for this piece and I think it will be somewhat entertaining to memorize. Vince Lombardi was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1913. As the head coach of the Green Bay Packers, Lombardi led the team to three NFL championships. The Packers never had a losing season under Lombardi. With that in mind, he led the club to a 105-35-6 in his years as the head coach and general manager. After winning multiple Super Bowls, Lombardi became a national symbol of determination and success. In 1970, Shortly after his death, The Lombardi trophy (Super Bowl Trophy) was named after him. Lombardi was the type of person with no matter the talent, skill, or will to win he still found a way to find success.

Ok. I hate WW Fenn public speaking contest, not only is it annoying to memorize and say the
same piece over and over again, but it is the stress that really gets you nervous. The same thing
happens every year, I end up thinking it will count towards a huge portion of my grade, but then it
turns out that it barely affects it. If I was told it was only worth 10 points, I may be less stressed
out on it which will result in me performing and practicing better.
The hardest part of the WW Fenn public speaking contest has to be the finding of the piece. You
don’t want to be that kid who uses the same boring speech that everyone uses. With that in
mind, you have to try your hardest to find a piece that no one else will use. And that my friend, is
extremely difficult to do. I strongly dislike the WW fenn contest, im my personal opinion, it should
be optional to only to those who want to do it.
With all of this in mind, I believe WW Fenn in one of the more difficult things we will do this year.
As much as I hate it, it is important for us to continue to work on our public speaking. As much
as we don’t want to, we have too.
