I really like the way this team is headed with Patrice Bergereon and Zdeno Chara leading the way, I can see some great potential. As of now, I can see the Bruins winning the East, but winning it all is going to be a small problem. The West is stacked this year. There is St Louis, Chicago, LA, San Jose, and even Anaheim can cause a threat at times. Fortunatly for the Bruins, St Louis and Chicago are battling out right now. That means only one of them come out with a win. With Oshie back, my bets are on St Louis. Then there is San Jose and LA. San jose is currently up 3-0 in the series and I see nothing sparking for LA. Although, with Jonathan Quick in net and Dustin Brown leading the offense, you never know what can happen. Lastly there is Anaheim and Dallas, I really don't know what to think of these to teams. Skill wise, they seem pretty even but with Temu Selanne out I don't see much going for Anaheim. Without one of those major leaders in the lockeroom I can't see Anaheim going for much longer. Although for the NHL playoffs, anything can happen. Anytime. Anywhere.
The NHL playoffs have been a joy too watch so far, I really have had fun watching all the games and with some of the match-ups finishing up I am excited for more. I really am hoping for a little classic rivalry match up between Montreal and Boston in round 2. Lets hope for the fun continue, in these 2014 NHL playoffs. - Pava
