My thoughts on youtube

Ok. I just wanted to start off by saying that I really like YouTube, and I love watching funny or gaming videos on it. But I do feel like something is wrong. Over the past couple of years I have noticed a lot of different things going on, the site has began to become more complicated rather than its old simple site. I don't know about you guys but I really hate a complicated site, no matter who it is, what it  is. Now YouTube is asking about linking your Google+ with it, and all this other stuff that I really could care less for. Then there is the layout for the channel pages. Boy, do those frustrate me. I really miss those old layouts, they were simple and clean, giving you more customization with your channel backgrounds, E.T.C. Then there is the growing copyright issues. YouTube has REALLY been cracking down on videos with copyrighted songs or music videos. These issues have began to ruin peoples YouTube channels and cause more popular you ubers to start uploading less. I really hate these new changes, and I really hope that something can be done. - Pava

I don't watch videos on youtube very often so I was unaware of these changes. I just watch funny videos on vine.

But in all seriousness great job with your overview about what you dislike about Youtube.

It is important that copyrights are respected. Other than that I am not a big youtube fan, but I get where you are coming from: simpler is better.

I personally disagree with the fact that youtube has become a complicated site. It is still incredibly simple in my opinion and it is helpful to link with google+

More proof that YouTube won't be around forever, and that whilst it is still growing at an impressive rate it won't be that way forever. Have a good break.

You can't blame them for cracking down on copyright violations. Artists' work should be protected.

I have noticed these changes too, but they don't seem to bother me much.

Ehhh... I think YouTube is becoming a platform for Google Plus, which everyone hates anyway. I'm so glad I don't have one.

Well, you do if you have a google account. They just straight-up give it to you

It's easy to fall behind, so do some catching up before you get lapped by time.

John Green made a video about YouTube and copyrights. The VlogBrothers slogan "DFTBA" appears in fan art, which the Green brothers support, but retailers have put the logo on their clothing as well.
